In order to be covered by the MyCamper insurance solution, you must fulfil certain requirements.
Omocom insurance
Your vehicle must be registered in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany or Austria, and be privately owned. Your camping vehicle must also meet these requirements:
- Maximum mileage: 300,000 km >
- Maximum authorised mass (MAM): 6,000 kg for motorhomes and campervans, 3,000 kg for caravans
Make sure to check your vehicle’s mileage and weight before listing it on MyCamper.
Baloise insurance
You (and the renter) must be resident in Switzerland. Baloise does not cover international renters. In addition to that, your camping vehicle must be registered in Switzerland and must not weigh more than 7.5 tonnes.

If you are not covered by MyCamper insurance for any reason, you can still rent out through MyCamper. In that case, you need to make sure your own comprehensive insurance also covers paid rentals. Some insurance companies allow rentals even if the vehicle was purchased for private use. We recommend that you check with your insurer how damage during a paid rental is covered.
