Once you have created your profile and entered your driving license category, only motorhomes and campervans that you can rent will automatically appear, because:
General Driving License Requirements
- You must hold a valid driving license that is recognized in all countries where you plan to travel during the rental period.
- The license must cover the category of the rented vehicle (e.g., a standard car license may not be sufficient for larger motorhomes).
- You must have held your license for at least three years if renting in Sweden, Norway, Finland, or Denmark.
International Driver’s License
- If you are from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or the USA, you must have an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your national license.
- MyCamper reserves the right to adjust this list based on regulations.
License for Larger Motorhomes
- Most motorhomes under 3,500 kg can be driven with a regular B category driving license.
- If the vehicle exceeds 3,500 kg, you may need a C1 category license, depending on national regulations.
