As an owner, you'll receive payment after the renter approves the check-in and the rental period begins. You may also receive additional payments during and after the rental period, such as for extra costs registered at check-out.
Additionally, rental payouts are distinct from extra charges, such as costs for damage or additional mileage, which may be processed separately based on the renter's payments to MyCamper.
You can find your payments on the website under Economy. Access this page via the Menu button on your mobile phone. On a computer, click your profile picture in the top right, then choose "Economy" to be directed to the payments page.
Explaining Earnings vs. Payout Discrepancies
Discrepancies between displayed earnings and payouts occur because extra charges, though reflected in your total earnings, are pending renter payment or reconciliation. For example, extra charges become visible when applied but are only transferred after the renter settles their balance with MyCamper.
When viewing a booking, you can also see the payment details for that specific booking.
Timeline for Processing Extra Charges
Extra charges may require additional time to process. MyCamper ensures payouts promptly for completed bookings, but charges for damages or extra mileage depend on the timing of renter payment and reconciliation for actual expenses.
Please note that once the money is paid out, it can take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank. Unfortunately, MyCamper cannot speed up this process.
