No, you cannot send a booking request on behalf of a friend or family member. The person making the booking must be the one who will be the main renter and responsible for the vehicle during the rental period.


Why?

  • The rental agreement is tied to the account holder who makes the booking.

  • The main renter must meet all requirements (e.g., valid driver’s license, age restrictions).

  • The insurance and liability apply only to the registered renter and approved additional drivers.

What Can You Do Instead?

  • Your friend or family member should create their own MyCamper account and send the booking request themselves.

  • If they need help, you can assist them in navigating the platform, but the booking must be in their name.

  • If additional people will be driving, they can be added as extra drivers (they must also meet the rental requirements).
