On MyCamper, the person who makes the booking always remains the main driver and the insured person for that booking.
It is not possible to change the main driver after the booking has been made.
What if someone else needs to drive the vehicle?
If another person also needs to drive the vehicle, they must be added as an additional driver.
This also applies if the person who made the booking does not plan to drive the vehicle themselves.
How do I add an additional driver?
You can add an additional driver directly in your booking on MyCamper.Ensure that the additional driver meets all eligibility requirements
The additional driver must meet the required conditions to be allowed to drive the vehicle.These conditions include having a valid driver’s license and meeting the age and driving experience requirements specified by MyCamper and the owner of the vehicle.
Why is it not possible to change the main driver?
The main driver is linked to the account that made the booking and is the insured person for that booking. For this reason, it is not possible to transfer the booking to another person or replace the main driver after the booking has been made.
